How a driveway job goes

From old pavement to new, step by step

We start by walking the site and looking at drainage, soil and the existing surface. Then we remove failed pavement, grade the subgrade and place a compacted aggregate base.

Hot mix asphalt goes down with a paver or by hand in tight spots, and is rolled while hot so it compacts tight. Edges and transitions are finished clean and the site is cleaned up.
